1st Stakeholders’ Workshop - Zadar
On the 16th of May 2018, the SAFE-10-T consortium organized the first Stakeholder Workshop - Defining an Integrated User Demand Analysis at Network Level in Zadar, Croatia, as a preliminary data collection activity for the development of a User Demand Analysis framework in order to understand the requirements of transport users in the EU for the purposes of infrastructure planning and service provision, whilst ensuring network safety.
The workshop had a particular focus on the selected demo sites within the project:
- The Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands - North Sea – Baltic Corridor (Freight transport)
- Rijeka harbour, Croatia - Mediterranean Corridor (Tourism route)
- The Severn river crossing, UK - urban interchange
During the workshop, participants debated on specific demo projects, as well as upon the available sources for data collection at national and regional level. Also, the content and dissemination strategy for questionnaires targeted to end users at EU level were discussed.
